A Quiet Pause in My Google Pixel Phone Journey

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may have noticed something unusual—it’s been quiet here. For years, this space has been buzzing with insights, reviews, and conversations about the Google Pixel phone.

From breaking down the Tensor chip’s performance to sharing night photography samples, I’ve poured my heart into covering everything Pixel. And honestly? Your comments, questions, and discussions have always been the highlight of this journey.

So first, let me say—thank you.

The Real Reason Behind the Silence

The truth is simple, yet frustrating: I don’t currently have a working Google Pixel phone.

This isn’t because I’ve lost interest in the Pixel lineup. Far from it. It’s because of an incredibly unlucky streak that left me without my daily driver—the very tool I rely on to test features, write reviews, and share genuine insights.

  • July 6th: My Pixel 6 Pro suddenly died after a routine update. The repair center confirmed it had a faulty main board.
  • August 11th: The replacement Pixel 8 Pro met the same fate. Another update, another bricked device, same diagnosis.

Two flagship phones. Two catastrophic failures. One stunned blogger.

Why I Won’t Compromise on Integrity

As someone who has built a reputation around hands-on Pixel content, I can’t write detailed reviews without the device in my hand. I’ve always believed that credibility comes from real-world testing—not secondhand information.

I also want to be clear: this doesn’t change my respect for the Pixel brand. Google Pixel phones remain some of the most innovative and user-friendly devices on the market. My own misfortune doesn’t erase the positive experiences millions of users have every day.

A Pause, Not the End

This break is temporary. Think of it as me taking a deep breath rather than walking away. I’m actively exploring ways to get a new Pixel device in hand so I can return with the same passion, honesty, and excitement that built this community.

So, if you’ve enjoyed my Pixel posts in the past, stick around. This isn’t goodbye—it’s just “see you later.”

Final Word from Kashif Mukhtar

Technology is full of surprises—sometimes delightful, sometimes challenging. My journey with the Google Pixel phone has had both, and I want to continue sharing those experiences with you.

Thank you for reading, for supporting, and for being part of this community. The best chapters are still ahead.
